Admission Policy
• Admissions are open for Classes Pre-Nursary, I, VI and VIII . not more than 25 children per class, per section.
• Enquiries will be entertained throughout the year.
• Admission is open to all children irrespective of race, religion, caste, nationality or gender. However, this is subject to availability of seats, fulfilment of stipulated age and other criteria and payment of fees.
• Age Criteria for seeking admissions is as follows:-
Pre-Nursary
3 Years and above
Class I
4.5 Years and above
Class VI
10.5 Years and above
Class VIII
12.5 Years and above
The age is reckoned as on 31st March of the year of admission
Documents to be submitted on seeking admission :
o Original Birth Certificate or duly attested copy if copies of originals not available.
o Certificate of caste / Physically Challenged (SC/BC/ST/PC) (if applicable).
o Copy of residence proof of present status (like Telephone bill, Electricity Bill, Passport).
o Copy of Aadhaar Card (Child, Father, Mother/Guardian).
o Special Diagnosis if any (Medical/ Learning Disability etc)
o Legal document if any custody / visitation rights ( if applicable )
o Photos of 6 nos of the student and one of each Parent/guardian
o Medical records of the student. Allergies to be mentioned if any
o Blood group of the student and the parents/guardian and siblings
o Report card, TC, Bonafide certificate of the last school attended
• Completed application forms should be submitted with all the enclosures and prescribed registration fee on or before the date specified by the School. The Registration fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted for any other purpose. Mere Registration is no guarantee for admissions.
• Parents will be called for further process of admission after registration, which will strictly be on First Come First Served Basis.
• Wait listed students are called for admission process only if there is a vacancy created any time during the year.
Admission process includes "Level Readiness Check" and Family Meet. This may also be treated as pre-diagnosis, if any, for special needs. Children with special learning needs, abilities and challenges will be discussed on a case to case basis.
• Family Meet: This is a compulsory part of the process and mandatory for both the parents/guardian to attend. There is no formal interview for the parents. However, both the school authorities and the parents may use this opportunity to ask questions, clarify doubts/queries and better get to know one another.
• The School may conduct such tests, exams or interviews to assess suitability of the student for the class applied for and convey the results. The decision of the School Principal shall be final and binding and no representations would be considered in this regard.
Application Forms
• Application forms can be collected in person from the school Admission office between 8.30 am and 14.00 pm Monday to Saturday on payment of Rs. 500. Alternatively, the Form can be downloaded from the website.
• Fill in the Application Form. Keep all necessary information handy (caste, date of birth etc.) before you fill in. Give correct contact details as this is the crucial link for further communication.
• The Application has to be signed by both the parents/guardians.
Registration
• Submit Completed Application Form by hand at the Admissions Office (or online) along with the required documents and Register by paying Rs. 1,000. In all cases registration fee is payable and is non-refundable.
• In case of online submissions, the Application Form fees and Registration Fees will be collected during Admission along with other payments due. The Application Form will also be signed by both the parents/guardians during the Parent Meet.
• In case of online submissions, School will not be responsible for any delays or failure to register due to poor network, connectivity and speed of internet or any other related snags from your side.
Communication from School after Registration
• You will receive a mail in 3 working days, regarding further process of admission with the date and time for the Family Meet and Level Readiness Check.
• Level Readiness Check and Family meet is scheduled between Monday and Friday to facilitate presence of both the parents.
• Each parent will be given a particular time. If you receive an afternoon slot, see to it that your child has had his meals so that he/ she is able to perform well in the Level Readiness Check and is active throughout the process.
• Kindly confirm your appointment via email or a telephonic call. Failure to turn up for the meet will cancel your admission registration.
Family Meet
• Submission of the completed and signed Application Form along with all the relevant documents is mandatory.
• It is compulsory for both the parents / guardians to attend the Family Meet.
Finalization of Admission
• After the level readiness check & Family Meet, the admission is granted.
• On Admission, pay the Admission Fees, Refundable Security Deposit and the first instalment of Annual Fees and Tuition Fees.
• Parents need to make payments in digital form - by cheque, draft or IMPS/RTGS/Bank Transfer favouring “MM Public School – Lucknow”. Bank charges, if any, will be borne by the parents. Cash will not be accepted.
Admission Rules
• Application for admission must be submitted on the prescribed form with prospectus obtained from the school.
• The minimum age for the admission in 3+ for PreNursery class.
• It is compulsary to submit the Birth Certificate of the Child at the time of admission
• A student selected for admission must join on the date specified, failing which the admission may be cancelled.
• Applications which are completed in all respects only will be considered. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
• In all the matters pertaining to admission the decision of the principal will be final. The principal may reject any application without any reasons there for.
General Rules
• Every child is to follow all the disciplinary rules of the institution to maintain the school decorum.
• The minimum age for the admission in 3+ for PreNursery class.
• Students must be punctual in reaching school. They should attend the morning assembly. Late arrivals will not be allowed to attend the class without Principal's permission.
• Those children who shall not be in proper uniform will be sent back to their home.
• No jewellery is to be worn except a wrist watch. Nails are to be kept short.
• The school does not accept responsibility for the loss of books, money and so on. Each child is responsible for his own things.
• The child will not be allowed to leave the school on any condition during school hours.
• Parents and other persons are not allowed to meet their Children or teachers during school hours without the permission of the principal.
• The Principal is liable to rusticate the student whose conduct is not good.
• 60% marks in English subject are required to get admission in the English medium classes.
• When the assembly is over, the students shall go to their classes in an orderly manner. By maintaining decorum and orderliness while leaving the school they will ensure smooth exit for them selves. Proper discipline must be maintained through out the school hours.
• Parents are requested to abide by the general rules or the institution and maintain a cordial behaviour with the staff.
